What makes a good story? A lot of people will tell you it's all about the arc, about interesting characters, about a lesson or moral - and that's all true, especially when you're telling a story on the page, on the screen, or on the stage.

But experiences have a special ingredient. It's right there in the name - experience, something that we, as a collective, experience together. We get connection out of it, something that appeals to our humanity, something that transcends upbringing, language, where you're from, how your day at the park has been...

The moment itself only lasts a few seconds, minutes, hours - maybe a whole day, if you're lucky. But what makes a good story for themed entertainment and experiences is the life of the memory made. Something you'll go back to on a hard day at school, or keep a picture of at your desk to look at when work gets overwhelming.

That's what I do! Whether it's creating original narratives and tales, building trust with and expanding existing IP, or drawing from the history and culture of the world around us, I know what makes a good story.
