About Me

Welcome!

I spent most of my upbringing between Orlando and New York, and while I'm currently based in Brooklyn, deep down, I'm still what I like to call a "barefoot Florida child", and this comes out in my passion for themed entertainment. While studying drama at the Experimental Theatre Wing at NYU Tisch School of the Arts, I experimented with many different modes of theatre and performance, but always found myself coming back to immersive entertainment and theme parks. There, I also fell in love with writing and creating my own work, and had the wonderful opportunity of interning in the Entertainment department at Walt Disney World.

I found a home at the New York Renaissance Faire during my college days, and throughout my tenure there, I went from performer to assistant director to cast director to show writer. I had the ultimate pleasure of working on children's entertainment with the Fae, the Queen and her Court in the Guild of St. George, and now, as head show writer for the Robin Hood scenario, and a member of the Creative Direction team. Even away from all the theme parks I grew up with, I found there what I sought out the most - art that was entirely based around the connection between people and the memories we make together.

Outside of the fantastical world of the Shire, my original play, La Pucelle, premiered at the 2024 Fresh Fruit Festival, where it went on to win four awards, including Outstanding Play and Outstanding Production. Additionally, I served as Quest Director at Camp Half-Blood in Brooklyn (yes, THAT Camp Half-Blood), where I helped create worlds of Gods and monsters for hundreds of demigods with hungry swords every summer. More recently, in collaboration with Stone Manor Inn, I co-created the Kingdom of LoudStone, an original immersive event series set in a world of daring fantasy. My performance troupe, The Wyrd Friends, also travels the country taking renaissance faire-goers on interactive adventures and hosting immersive drag shows here at home.

So what am I up to when I put down the pen? (Or keyboard? Or quill?) Well, I'm probably first in line for your haunted attraction. Or rolling dice during a session of Dungeons & Dragons (although, who are we kidding, I'm behind the DM screen). Or polishing my collection of tiki mugs, Haunted Mansion tchotchkes, and Universal Classic Monsters memorabilia. Or I'm at EPCOT (that's usually a safe bet). But always, I'm thinking about what story to tell next.
